Westpunt Curacao

Thirty minutes from the airport and Willemstad, you will find Westpunt, the westernmost point of the island of Curaçao. Westpunt is also the name of a nearby small town and a beach on Curacao. The town of Westpunt is the island's northernmost settlement. The island's northernmost point, Watamula, lies two kilometers to the northeast.

Close by are the pristine white sandy beaches of Playa Kalki, Playa Forti Grote Knip, and Kleine Knip, which are visited by many locals on Sunday as these are some of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

Westpunt is known for excellent scuba diving and is home to several shore and boat dive sites, including a submerged airplane wreck and beautiful reefs. Most tourist accommodations in Westpunt cater to scuba divers, and you will find several dive schools in the area.
