Jan Thiel is one of the most famous neighbourhoods on the island and is known for being very quiet and safe. The resort is a 10-minute drive from Willemstad and 5 minutes from the famous Jan Thiel Beach.

The apartments are furnished but the furniture can also be removed on request, this will change the rental price to NAF 1500,-. All apartments also have: hot water, their own washing machine, digital television (flat screen), internet and built-in wardrobes in the bedrooms.

The resort is steps away from all kinds of basic amenities. Around the corner is the general practice and pharmacy Sorsaka, also a drugstore to buy care products. A little further you will soon reach the Vreugdenhil supermarket and a gas station. If you walk out at the back of the resort, there is a beautiful nature reserve, the salt pans, for walking, running, horseback riding or mountain biking.

Jan Thiel is well known for its location: adjacent to the Caribbean Sea and the Spanish Water Lagoon. Over the past 10 years, this neighborhood has been developed towards a coveted tourist destination, various new hotels and resorts have been opened. Also, new communities have been created, like Vista Royal, Masbango Beach Resort, Residencia Tropicana, Damasco Resort and Marbella Resort, providing many persons and families a new place to call home or to wind down during vacation time.
